Uganda

To my friends and partners at New Life Church in Woodbury;

In just a few days I depart for my 5th trip training pastors in Africa.

I ask for, and feel in need of, your prayers.

I will be in Uganda September 13-22. I will then fly (on RwandaAir Express) to Ghana September 23-30.

While I am away you have the privilege of hearing from Vadim (from Ukraine) who will be our guest preacher September 18, and from Rob Scott (Arrive Ministries, refugee outreach here in the Twin Cities) on September 25.

Lord willing I will be back with you on October 2, when we begin our fall sermon series in Philippians.

I am aware of my need for protection and fruitfulness, even while Satan is seeking to discourage, drain and distract me. So...your prayers are needed and valued during these days.

Specifically pray for:

- Protection from any and all demonic attacks on me and my family...and on New Life Church.

- Peace and resting in the Lord rather than being stressed and worn down.

- Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25 and John 15:1-12) in the lives of the 200+ pastors I will be working with in Uganda (Sept 13-22) and 30+ pastors in Ghana (Sept 22-30).
